The mission was described as bulb planting - spring not light bulbs. Indeed there were a few to be planted. However, there were several bags full of ferns, lavender, crocosmia and other plants that seemed like a much higher priority to get established now. So that’s what I did, with Mr N’s agreement. We had a lovely time chatting about plants and gardens.
