It was lovely to be back at St Andrews this evening, but it was even lovelier to see Nigel back with us tonight. We’ve really missed you Nigel.

Before starting our task tonight, we headed out for a walk. We took it easy, and enjoyed a good chat along the way. Catching up with everybody and hearing how their week has been and what they’ve been up to is one of the highlights of my week.

Back at the task, we were given our job for the evening. It was moving furniture and doing a bit of organising. We had to get a large metal cupboard from the church hall to the church using a trolley. The task was easily manageable between us - I’m just glad that it was still early in the evening, because the noise that the trolley made on the pavement could’ve quite easily woken the entire street!! Once the cupboard was in place, we did a small amount of organising before returning the trolley back to his rightful home in the church hall. With the task complete, we headed off to the pub (well it would’ve been rude not to given that we haven’t seen Nigel for a few weeks!).

I loved our time together this evening, chatting, and having a good laugh about all kinds of things. Wednesdays have always been one of my favourite nights of the week, and tonight was no exception.

Thank you for the much needed laughs and great company. And thank you for being amazing as always!

Have a great week, look after yourself and see you soon.

Lots of love Nicola Xxx
