Great to team up with Ady this morning as we met on the edge of Westbury, Henleaze and Southmead to help out Ms L in her garden.

We got to work on tidying up the yard area, with Ady pulling out the weeds amongst the flagstones, whilst I grabbed the shears and started cutting back the bushes along either side of the yard.

The neighbour popped in to check on our progress, clearly delighted that her adjoining garden was going to benefit from our actions too.

Ady was expertly clearing up the mess of trimmings that I was leaving in my wake, in between the weeding action and then stepped in to prune some rose bushes that had clearly seen better days.

All the while we chatted away and it was great to hear about Ady's ultra adventure at last week's Race To The Stones an awesome achievement (100 km!). particularly when she mentioned that she had not run a marathon before starting training.

We were done in a couple of hours and after saying our goodbyes to Ms L we headed off together with Ady kindly running with me along my route back, my plod roughly matching her ultra pace!

Another lovely morning mission!
