Team Super Saturday arrived a tad early for the Open House Day at Cheviot Gardens so we popped round the corner to grab some lunch before heading back to make ourselves useful!

First we joined a tour of the ‘Star Trek Enterprise’ (Pamela, our tourguide’s words!) where we saw all the amazing accessible facilities for residents. We then set to helping out at the cafe and as meeter greeters at the door!

A group called MIA - Moving Into Age made up of over 65s who love to dance, were doing a performance which we watched with the residents before being volunteered to take part as the dancers for our own Goodgym Extravaganza!

Many of us had great chats with residents and staff before running back over Tulse Hill either home or to our final task of the day!
