Darkness on the Edge of Brent
5 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Brent.
- Monday, 28th of September 2020
- Led by Tabitha Skinner
5 of us went along tonight to Watling Gardens to help them out with their beds along Shoot-Up Hill, the border with our neighbours over in Camden.
Pete brought his green fingers straight from another task, watering the beds over at Brondesbury Park Overground station, nice one Pete!
Claudia was here at Watling for the first time (welcome along! 😄) having spotted the red shirts last time GG were here back in August and then looked-up GG online, hooray! Don’t forget to wear your GG tops if you can team, even if it’s a bit chilly.
Before the darkness came, we put in an hour or so of raking away what the first weeks of Autumn has put amongst the plants, and made some nice big piles for the caretakers to collect, hopefully before the wind comes and puts it all back again. 🤞
Next GG Brent Community Mission is this Thursday at Brondesbury Park Overground station. Sign-up here for that…
