First shift of the five-day effort that is Birmingham Christmas Shelter each year! I led a group of volunteers as a team leader for our ‘General’ area of the shelter. Everything from helping sort rooms, beds, the welcome desk, cleaning toilets… and more! Lots of running about with my clipboard, taking queries from clients, and taking a moment to meet a very fluffy dog!
