It was a lovely sunny morning (if extremely cold) to be completing our first group task of the January challenge and a small group of us met at the entrance to Stockwood Park, where Kevin from ABCD also greeted us to provide us with the necessary kit to complete the job in hand. A makeshift camp had been abandoned sometime ago, but the tents, sleeping bags clothes and some rather varied and interesting items had been left behind including a Deliveroo cycle back pack and also some rather nasty human remains. It was definitely a case of "Deliverpoo" being taken on the wheelbarrow and delivered to the gradually increasing pile of rubbish bags which will be collected later by the council.

We got lots of praise from some of the local residents and one even asked if we could come and clean up rubbish that has been dumped in his road.

Well done team, it might not have been the most pleasant clean up, but you did it in record timing, so there was plenty of time for further good deeds.
