Today's task at the Baby Bank was to check through a huge bag of donated clothes and sort them into sizes ready for distribution to families in need. The previous owners obviously had a penchant for dinosaurs, and very cute they were too. The Baby Bank has high standards as to the quality of stuff they re-distribute, so anything that was stained or showing signs of wear was put into the reject bag. A couple of hours later and I had made a small dent in the pile of bags waiting to be sorted.
The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.

Well done Sheila! A small dent still very much worth doing. 👏👏
