Oh Man! That was hard work, my “Coach’ didn’t have her hearing aid in so it took a good 10 minutes to get her attention. It was such a hot day and Coach has all her doors and windows shut, luckily knowing she likes the house warm came armed with a fan and bottle of cold drink. The TV was turned up quite loud so conversation wasn’t easy at first. Having said that we did manage to settle down to companionably watching The Repair Shop (a favourite of both of us) together with subtitles so we could chat to each other about what was going on without shouting. Coach said at the end that it was nice to have company while watching TV for a change and thanked me profusely so I came away feeling I’d done her some good before I refilled my water bottle and set off for a walk home via our beautiful local park.
