Pleased to welcome a new recruit to the Solihull Goodgym ranks tonight, welcome aboard Jackie, who is a medical student and GP in training.
We met in Brueton Park for a litter pick tonight, Rob suggested some unchartered territory so headed off piste into the woods. Not a great deal of litter tonight compared to our last visit, but we still managed to fill 2 bags.
Fiona was really excited to show us the Goodgym rock she had painted to add to the commemorative NHS garden, suffice it to say after 2 days work her artistic talents lie elsewhere.. sorry Fiona :) Good effort
After one lap of the park litter picking, we retrieved the ‘Red-Rock’ from the car and ran another lap to make our contribution to the rock garden. Strategically placed between stones decorated by infants , we proudly made our Goodgym mark.
We ran about 2 1/2 km lead by a speedy Fiona , closely followed by Chris, Rob, Rachel and Jackie. It was fantastic to run together again ( at a safe distance) and a great debut run by Jackie.
Next task is back in the park on Saturday morning
