🎼Don’t stop till you get enough🎼
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Saturday, 30th of January 2021
My second mission of the day and it was a food shop for Ms A.
Planning my missions strategically this morning, with the supermarket being next to the pharmacy for mission #1, I decided to pick up the food before both drop offs.
I knew from a previous task that Ms A’s intercom wasn’t working properly so I attempted to call her twice. With no answer, and with a neighbour from the flat standing outside I explained the situation and asked if he could kindly buzz me in, to which he thankfully obliged.
Getting upstairs and knocking on the door, Ms A explained that her phone wasn’t working. I had a look into this for her and was able to start it up again. She jokingly told me that if she won a million on her scratchcard she would give me a quarter of her winnings (only!).
She had a bin bag outside waiting for disposal so I put it through the chute for her and was on my way for the third mission of the day.
Camden here I come....!
