I was so grateful to be able to get clued up on this mission in advance through reading Nick's previous mission reports: https://www.goodgym.org/reports/come-in-number-71-your-time-is-up https://www.goodgym.org/reports/the-early-bird

Thanks Nick!

The advice was to get to the food bank early to get your name down to avoid longer queuing later on. It was a shock to the system getting up at 715am- with this working from home malarkey, I realise I have very much been lying in! I managed to get to the food bank for 745am to write my name on the sign up sheet and was 8th on the list.

I headed to Mrs E's address for around 1115am to collect the letter needed to collect the food parcel and then arrived at the food bank for 1130am.

There was no further queuing and people were dotted around waiting for their number to be called. I didn't wait for very long when number 8 was called. I handed in the letter to which they asked how many people live at the address to check how many food parcels so I said two (Mrs E's daughter also lives there). I offered to call to check on this but was told to not call and handed two huge food parcels. It was quite the struggle in delivering this amount which I now realise was because it should have been one parcel that I picked up...

Mrs E's daughter was thankful for the delivery and when I checked the number of food parcels I should have collected, she said it should be one. Cue an afternoon guilt trip that I took double the food parcels needed (sorry!!) Nick - you very much remain the pro!

Well done Katie - it truly is a unique Tuesday morning experience isn’t it! Glad the previous reports were helpful and nice work on being 8th. I have no idea how you managed to carry two parcels worth of bags to Mrs E - your arms and shoulders must be aching this evening. Def wouldn’t let any hint of guilt consume you - far worse things have gone on in that queuing system these past few weeks! Am sure Mrs E and her daughter were delighted with your efforts today.👏
