This morning 3 jolly good gymmers ran to Stephens House to help set up their Summer Fete. We were put in charge of the childrens games so after erecting the gazebo we set up some exciting activities for the local dinky people. We painstakingly filled the padding pool with a dodgy hosepipe then loaded it with ducks. Paul got to fill up the lucky dip box with some exciting retro prizes. The children were much more interested in stroking Gus our GG Barnet pup than the games.
When the fair was officially opened we were asked to man the dumper truck slide which was a roaring success! Gus also had a wonderful time and went home with a portrait of himself!
