Earth Day 🌎📆

In honour of Earth Day today, Beth and I met-up for a quick lunchtime plog around the local park. I had a picker c/o Barnet council, and Beth considerately thought to bring separate bags for both recycling, and regular.

Plogging and plugging

There were quite a few lunch breaks being taken in there, and several lots of people stopped (or stopped us) to ask what GG was. After the year we just had, our GG summary blurb was a bit rusty, but we muddled through and I think managed to leave a good impression.

Lost & Found

Gladly there wasn’t too much litter today, bit there did seem to be a bit of an epidemic of lost children’s clothes, so we did our duty and put them up closer to eye level.

Before we finished-up Beth spotted for the first time the carved owl and fox hidden in the corner of the park, and then on the way back I got to see a very happy cat out getting itself some Vitamin D. ☀️
