3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Hackney.

After a little bit of a mishap with the timings for our Tuesday triple this evening, Alex, Richard and I headed to Clapton station via bike for our second task of watering the lovely plants planted there by the Energy Garden; a world-first project that delivers community gardens and community-owned renewable energy to people in London. 👏👏👏
As I was given the task of chief cycle leader/map reader this obviously meant that there with a few wrong turns (Sorry Richard!) and some questionable cobbled 'paths' to tackle. I may have also nearly cycled into a parked car but I blame Alex and Richard's compelling/very distracting cycle chat for that.
Richard and Alex squeezed in a lovely bit of fitness by running to and from the tap located on the station platform to refill the watering cans then bring them to each planter, whilst I used my new-found lockdown green fingers to prune the beautiful lavender which was looking a bit sad.
Plants watered, many stairs tackled, and we were off to our third task of the evening..
