SESSION ORGANISER
Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Alexander Kenmure
It's not just GoodGym missions that seem to be flying off the shelves these days. Even in my local whatsapp group I appear to be beaten to the buzzer every time one of my neighbours needs a bit of support. In fact, we were starting to feel a little self conscious that our neighbours might think we just weren't that friendly or helpful (we have our limits but we're not that bad).
Anyway this morning, while scanning through my phone munching on my fried egg on toast (quite possibly my worst attempt ever - how the hell does someone mess up egg on toast????) a call came in to post a couple of letters for a close neighbour. Grease smeared fingers weren't going to hold me back from answering the call first, and with a final munch of toast and gulp of coffee I was straight out into action.
After a nice little catch up, I put my head down and sprinted to the nearest post box. Bad idea. Not only have I not been running in ages, my breakfast was still swirling around. Thankfully I managed to keep myself together there and then risked a more leisurely jog back. I even got the full GoodGym experience with a minor heckle on the way to my house! It's like I've never been away....
I was too fast for a mid mission selfie, so here's what I'm normally doing in my GoodGym t-shirt these days.
p.s. this wasn't in Camden, but in Folkestone but it'll only let me post it to Camden. But it is in Folkestone.
