Sheila went to help out at the Baby Bank, with the never-ending task of sorting clothes donations. I started on the travel cot filled with boys' clothing, making sure they were clean and in good condition, before sorting into size. Sadly I filled 3 bin bags full of rejects which were not in good enough condition to hand-out. Although I took a 'before' photo, there were so many donations coming in during the morning that the cot ended up fuller than when I started! Oh well!

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
