Today I met up with Elise for a mission in Hackney for Ms K.

This was a repeat visit for me, as I'd visited Ms K just two weeks ago to help by moving furniture in her bedroom. Today, Elise and I were asked to help by moving some books and furniture in her spare bedroom to allow her better access to her things.

Following a warm welcome by Ms K, we got started. Ms K told us that she was currently having a sort out of her spare room, and wanted us to bring a lot of bagged items that were currently under or on a desk in her spare room. Aside from multiple bags of bags (is there anyone left in the UK who doesn't have bags of bags?!), we also uncovered Ms K's extensive record (read, vinyl) collection and a small hoard of Victory menthol sweets that had expired mid-2016. No Victory there for us 😅

As we couldn't pop down to the parcel depot for Ms K, we instead helped her get ready for her next big post office trip by putting some items into jiffy bags/black bags and adding the return labels (obviously as much of a pro at this as Elise is, all of the return info had already been filled out 😎).

After that, there wasn't much more to do except to have a brief chat with Ms K before heading off for the rest of our weekend.
