Eroding the Clothes Mountain
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the The Baby Bank - Windsor, Maidenhead and surrounding areas in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Wednesday, 12th of October 2022
- Led by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
An amazing 5 GoodGymers (or should it be 5 amazing GoodGymers?) answered the call to help out at the Baby Bank. We were faced by a mountain of donated clothes which needed checking and sorting. This was the first time that I had been to their new premises in Holyport and it was great to have some natural light and space in which to work. Alongside a couple of other volunteers, Jen, Juli, Michelle, Rachel and Sheila set to work checking the quality of donations and making sure they were in bags labelled with the correct size. By the end of the session, we had eroded the mountain slightly, but there is plenty more to go. There are more opportunities to help out next Friday or Wednesday
