Four of us met at Upton Court Park for a challenging and varied fitness session led by the one and only Ricky.
This was the first time the marathon-running legend had led a session for GoodGym and he certainly put us through our paces; getting us stretching places we probably forgot existed, showing us ways we could improve our running technique, mixing things up with lots of circuit-type drills and strengthening that worked various parts of our bodies - we all forgot how hard sit ups and planks were! - plus a few mini laps at varying speeds chucked in to break things up.
Needless to say we all felt like we had gotten a really good workout - something we all commented on needing after so long without group sessions. They have been missed and this was a welcome return! Long may they continue.
