When I arrived at Mrs T's, her carer was there so she showed me round to the back door where the cat flap was that needed fixing.

Now, I'm pretty practical but not exactly a professional handywoman so I was a bit worried I might not be able to fix this one. The cat flap was an electric one (who knew they existed!?) but I could see pretty quickly that the batteries had been put in the wrong way. Bingo. I corrected them and did a few tests, and as if by magic it was up and running, phew!

The cat even came and left the house via the catflap as if to prove that it was working! No tools required 👍
