What do you get if you mix blue, green, peach, white and brown left over paint? GoodGym Grey! It’s a beautiful Scandi shade that would look fashionable in any reputable establishment, including the side of the crumbling pavilion at Eastville Park’s bowling green.

Perfect for socially-distanced GoodGymmers, paint brushes and rollers were put to use to protect the remaining wood we’d prepared by removing the ivy over the previous couple of weeks.

Once the first coat was complete, eager hands turned to some Himalayan balsam bashing (a favourite activity of GG Bristol) and de-branching of the Branch memorial tree.

At 1230, we declared a cordial break and, after a good old tidy up of all the tools, set off again for the rest of our Sunday.

Looking after Eastville Park - a large Victorian park with a range of facilities just two miles north-east of Bristol city centre. It is a great place to relax surrounded by a spacious and diverse landscape.
