Final bramble showdown
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hammersmith and Fulham.

For me it was a fourth and final trip to Mrs A's to get through the last of the brambles which had overtaken the front garden. After completing two missions already today, I was determined that I would get the rest of Mrs A's garden looking shipshape before I left. Working solo this afternoon, I chopped away at the remaining brambles in the sunshine - by this stage I had become rather efficient at bramble chopping, and so in little over an hour I had felled the rest of them. The remaining time was spent bagging up the clippings, and trying not to gain too many more bramble spike injuries!!
Mrs A was very impressed that I had managed to complete the task alone in the warm Saturday afternoon sunshine. Looking back on the photos of the garden from the first mission a few weeks ago, it really hit home just how much of a difference we had made.
Both Mrs A and her brother Mr E thanked me profusely for my help today on the 3 previous occasions, sending me off with a nice cold can of pop to thank me. And with that I was off to enjoy a well-earned break after completing three missions in one day!
