Six Goodgymmers, Chloe, James, Caprice, Eleanor, Keith and Lea, turned up at Hope Housing…. Would there be something for us to do THIS time?!?!?! Nobody in sight, so we feared the worst, but fear not: Glynn appeared round a corner and took us to a room full of clothes. Our task: sort the clothes, photograph the various items and put them on Vinted. Luckily we had some tech experts, some Vinted experts as well as some modelling experts (ahem!). Each item was expertly viewed and commented on(!) and some even tried on! Chloe was keen to try on a lovely shirt with long sleeves, but with it being too long for her arms, Vinted expert Eleanor had a go and decided to buy it. Caprice had her eyes on a lovely bralette (I think that what it’s called, a niksniemendalletje as I would say in Dutch 🤔🙃🤣), a Chelsea Football training top and a whatever-you-call-it dress. A Fat Face dress attracted Lea’s attention but her son got married three years ago, so she no longer needs a mother-of-the-groom dress. The lovely shiny black velvety pants, attractive though they were, were unfortunately a tad too big for Lea. And Keith decided to go for a manatee tshirt in favour of a floral dress with ruffles….as he did swim with manatees in 2004 and not with a dress! Many, many items and a big pile of clothes later, we left Hope Housing in high spirits, definitely a fun task to get involved with! BTW James, good luck with your 10k run on Sunday!
