Wowza, what a scorcher............ Tonight was always going to be a tough one for Goodgym Bexley. 90% of our crew had completed the 10K Vitality run this morning so were just a little to tired and warm to come out and push another run and fitness session. I just want to say a massive well done to all the Bexley Goodgymers that smashed the run this morning. You are all awesome.
Well, all was not lost this evening. We had a Goodgym tourist to entertain with some of our Bexley shenanigans. A big HI 5 to Helen who joined us all the way from Sheffield Goodgym. We hoped you enjoyed your evening with us.
Well, as usual we started off with the famous Bexley warm up. We then headed out up towards Welling, then swinging left and round into the back entrance of Danson Park for a beautiful evening run beside the lake. We then circled round and back on to Danson Road with a hill push to finish. What a lovely run which covered just under 5K. Well done Richard for pushing yourself, it really wasn't easy in this heat. On returning to Base Camp Crooklog we had enough time for a fun fitness game to really get some heart rates up. The guys split into two teams whilst i set up the cones for 'Battle Ships'. We set up a line of comes with two teams 10 metres either side. You then have one minute to sprint up to the cones and point one towards your opponents. You then run back to your line ready to go again. After one minute the team with the most cones pointing towards their opponents wins the battle.........
What can i say. I really enjoyed everyones company this evening. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Next week we have a great task waiting for us so see you all then. Have a brilliant week. Tim
