12 Goodgymmers descended upon the Westbury Banks Nature Reserve - with paaaaaarty in their minds - to give this wonderful Wood Green space a hand

Hellos and Goodbyes

We welcomed Julia for her first GG run and she was a natural! Show her some love.

Also, this week GGH say goodbye to two of the best who, in a lovely synchronicity move, decided to desert us for pastures new the same week by moving in completely divergent directions: Liam to South London and Rita to deepest Yorkshire. You'll be missed, lovelies, and do come back and visit. #BadGym4eva

Happy Smelly Birthday To Us!

After a rather heavy start to this year (seriously, just slow down with the escathological overtones already, 2020 ), we finally had a cause for celebrations at GGH as we reached our 5th Birthday milestone. We'll have a proper celebration later in the year when proper parties are appropriate again but we had cake last night. All is well that ends bakewell - take that 2020.

At the Reserve we even managed to clear even more of the paths, and a little bird has told me there might even be a date for forthcoming public visits to the site again, so it was rewarding to see that you can reach most of the Reserve again through the paths. Thanks to all the Goodgymmers who have fought brambles, thistles, and stinging nettles over the last few weeks to get the Reserve to this point!

We also topped up the liquid fertiliser with fresh borage and water and were very grateful we didn't have to dig into it yesterday as the fertiliser is maturing nicely (the smell!).

Happy Birthday GGH! <3

Help locals create a nature reserve

"The Westbury Banks Nature Reserve is a community lead project to transform derelict land into a nature reserve. All work on the site is on a voluntary basis and the management of the site is done free of charge! There are big plans to install a storage unit for the equipment, a mural, a log path with wood chipping, a pond for amphibious for wildlife and a grand insect hotel
