It was such a treat to join four other GoodGym superstars at the Springbank Road Community Garden

I only dropped by to say hi, but I was soon deep in the flower beds, secateurs in hand, taking cuttings for next spring's plant sale.

It was a gorgeous evening to be out, with Nykolette, Megan and Vic planting seeds, Claudia helping Anne-Marie to wire the fence to support climbing plants and even a bit of truly hands-on (or in?) mulching going on.

It was great to catch up with old friends (hey Kim and Molly!) and to welcome new-comers, but I suddenly realised it was going dark and I didn't have my bike lights!

I'm sure our helping hands will be needed again soon in Hither Green, so watch this space.
