Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Peter Van Tongeren
On an already quite warm Saturday morning a record number of runners lined up for the start of Wanstead Flats parkrun.
Off they went at 9 on the dot for two laps around the recently re-measured and adapted course, swapping some poor tarmac for all dirt track now.
With a bit of a breeze keeping the runners relatively cool during the run, the heat was very much noticeable once people stopped, with most faces red - a sign of hard work done!
With part 2 of the (unofficial) GG Redbridge Parkrun Tour done, any suggestions of which other ones to visit over the summer? Not necesarily GG related!
