Flat Pack to the Future
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Saturday, 9th of April 2016
On Saturday morning, two seasoned GoodGymers met in South London on a mission to tidy up a garden for Ms P.
Last week three GoodGymers helped assemble some flatpack furniture for Mrs P. So when GoodGym returned this week to help tidy the garden, we were surprised to be presented with an assembly task, before we could start gardening. In this case building a flatpack lawnmower.
We took it in turns to run the mower around, and dig up dandelions. Before too long, we'd filled the garden waste bin, and it was time to head off. Graham was considering running the whole 18km to the Camden mission but Dave had already done a Park run that morning so dropped it to a 5k and caught a train most of the way, pausing only to help carry a buggy down the stairs..
Rumour has it that the Islington discussion this week will be on Graham's new look.
