After a week of non-stop torrential rain, t he weather gods were on our side for an early Friday morning Community Mission with The Friends of Scholes Park, Gatley. What a way to start the weekend!

Some generous local businesses had donated an array of beautiful blooms to the Friends Of Scholes Park. While some bulbs were allocated to local Primary Schools as part of a community project, The Friends needed a little helping hand to plant the remaiming bulbs ready for Spring.

We cleeared away the dead brambles, litter picking as we went (double tasking) and created borders around the children's play area. All 200 bulbs went in, and BOOM! Mission complete!
