10 GoodGym-ers ran 5km tonight delivering flyers for Lordship Hub.

We were joined by GG newbie Marusha - give her a cheer!

This gets us many kilometers closer to our 1500km target for Jan. Have you linked Strava to your GG profile yet? You can use this link to do it now. Every run you do, whether it's with us or not, will be added to our total so long as you've logged it with strava (or runkeeper) and linked your tracker to your profile!

After a quick warm up and briefing at base, we headed off on our short run to Mount Pleasant x The Avenue, where our flyering began. Sarah was our trusty back-marker, while I lead the way with Sandra.

Once at our corner we split into the Left Team, lead by Dave, and the Right Team, lead by me. It was time for Flyering Leap Frog. With incredible efficiency we managed to cover all the requested streets in record time, including Glynis from Lordship Hub's own house! We then made our way to Lordship Rec for some sprints up that wonderful hill. Niamh and Ollie helped lead the way.

They went off for their first sprint up the hill to stay warm while we waited for the others, before Sarah took over to teach the gang about arm drive. We practiced a partner arm drive drill before putting it to practice on a sprint back up the hill. A few sprints later and it was time to head back to base.

Don't forget tomorrow is the GG monthly social! We are hosting it! So please do come along! It's at the Beehive. Sign up here. And we have a starter sesh at Stonebridge Lock on Saturday at 11am. Sign up here
