Seven Goodgym runners ran in support of the Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley. Its a community cinema purpose built in 1910 and opened to the public in 1912 . It is a unique building and is one of the earliest purpose-built cinemas in the UK and one of even fewer still operating as a cinema. It is held in trust and needs local support to survive. We warmed up and then headed off with Damian as back marker. We had all declared a favourite film during the warm up so with this as a talking point we ran to the the first street targeted for leaflets. After some paired exercises we split into two teams and made good progress through the streets of east Finchley. We made quick work of over 300 leaflets ! On our run home we stopped to do a HIT work out and finished with a warm down and high fives. Last but not least a BIG thank you to Pennie for all the hard work she has done to develop Goodgym Barnet.

It will help make the reservoir cleaner and safer for visitors and the many plants, birds and animals that live there.
