Arriving to the Food bank, we had 7 cyclists turn up, which seems like a record. Still however you got there, thank you for turning up, your help is very appreciated.
We had 2 new comers (Yasmine and Evelyne and 1 first timer andArjun at the food bank. Julia, Linda, and James was showing these new comers the ropes. In total we packed for roughly 70 families/individuals.
With breaks taken of course, bottles of water was provided as well as bourbons, and some bagel sandwiches (it helped if you like cheese, options were cheese slice, or cream cheese).
This was the first time that when repacking we used the outside container. And once the scouts donations was sorted we helped load the packages for the drivers.
James did some vacuuming at the end, the pic is believed to be for mum as proof he knows how to use it 😅.
Linda unfortunately got in a battle with a Mutant Ninja Trolley and lost with a bruise to prove it.
The next food bank task is up on the website, 3 weeks from today, hope to see you again next time.
