I helped the Frenford and Mutual Aid food bank, based in Ilford, calling up households to check if they needed a food parcel, covering 3 weeks, delivered for the next day.

I also asked them if they had run out of something or if they had any particular requests, like vegetarian options or breakfast cereal. They had the opportunity to say if they needed other items, and the food bank would use their contacts to see if they could supply them. One household was so happy about this and asked for clothes.

This was a mission I would very much like to do again. It definitively put things in perspective and it showed how much of an impact the food bank is doing in the local area.
