Ceiling and I helped the volunteers at the food coop in the crypt at St George the Martyr. We got stuck in taking inventory, stacking shelves, trampling lots of cardboard, packing orders and Ceiling sifted through some pretty squishy veg. A few hours very well spent!

The Borough Food Cooperative opened in October 2020. With help from organisations like FareShare, the Borough Food Cooperative acts as a subsidized supermarket, offering members to stop in and pick up £15-£20 worth of groceries for £4.50. The Cooperative is open during lockdown to provide essential supplies to local households
