Venue
London Orchard Project. A project turning derelict pieces of land into fruit growing hubs. They want to help London blossom - bringing people together to improve green spaces and build healthier, happier and more sustainable communities.
Items from previous meeting
Congratulations to people who achieved some pretty amazing things in the last week. To Paul, Pritesh and Lucia who all ran Marathons last week. To Jess who ran the Bordeaux half, and to Beth, Beth, Richard and Chris who ran the Marathon relay. Whoop whoop.
Good luck to Sophie and Steve running the London Marathon!
Tasks
Build Fire- Skills required; ability to withstand high temperatures in the facial region. Task completed. Water the Saplings Skills required; Waterproof trousers, ability to distinguish between hot and cold taps when applying hose. Task Completed Weed the Orchard Skills required; Good Forking technique, ability to kneel down, understanding of 'Granpa's Weeding Tool'. Task completed

Run home to the Community Centre - with time running out, the options were minimal. But we got a chance to blow the cobwebs out along the canal - John managing a swift 4 out and back to the centre.
Next meeting- next Wednesday
Couple of options for next week including a 9k (total) run to Abbey Community Centre and a shorter run to Kentish Town. See you then!
