SESSION ORGANISER
Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Euclides Montes
6 frankly absurd Goodgymmers faced the bitterly chilly winds of an un-bulb-lieavably cold North London evening to go and help out the Friends of Tottenham Green. Boom.
Mulled Whine
We went back for a second week in a row to help Laura from FOTG in her mission to cover the Green in spring flowers.
Gramps was on the subs bench last week with a bug (not the bug, thankfully) but it now almost feels as if he had been there as his running companions regaled him with vivid stories of that mission last week. It was in no way a constant lament about how cold it had been. Oh no, these Goodgymmers are hardy, you see, they would never whine.
Anyway, apropos of nothing, the heroes of the piece turned up fully insulated tonight – one of them wearing what can only be described as a thermal blanket – and we got on with the job at hand.
Tulips and Angel Kisses were skilfully tucked in to sleep through winter on the flower bed opposite the Bernie Grant Arts Centre. We even had time for a litter pick.
I’ll level with you – it was a tad chilly. Thankfully, Sam brought with her the by now legendary and honorary GGH member known as A Flaskful Of Mulled Wine. As usual, they proved a very popular addition to the evening.
A little bit cheerier, we all headed off home, with Gramps, Alex, and Charlie heading back towards HQ to round off a cool 5k run.
Easy.
Join us next week for another fun task and a well-behaved Xmas social next week. Details for both still being finalised so watch this space!

Brilliant. Artistically shot (photos) and a bloomingly decadent end to the task. The bar is set high.
