What started out as a grey and damp morning turned into a beautiful sunny afternoon. The sun was shinning as I made my way to Mr P's home, making the 30 minute-ish walk all the more pleasant.

Once arrived, and after a quick outdoor chat, I collected the shopping list and off I went to the local supermarket. The list consisted of 3 items only, of which the most important one was Persil washing liquid - but it had to be the green variety. No other colours accepted.

Considering it was a rather big supermarket and that the time was past normal working hours, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the supermarket was pretty empty of people, but quite full of stuff! In no time I had popped all 3 items on the list into the shopping trolley, then into my shopping bag and finally onto Mr P's doorstep.

After another quick farewell chat, I headed back home, this time taking a slightly longer detour passing by a local park. The trees were so green and the park so serene in the absence of people that I just couldn't resist taking a picture to put in this report! Enjoy the green!!
