Having dashed from my sea swim to the church service I dived straight in to helping set up before it dawned on me I needed food! I returned with some supplies and began mixing with people coming to the picnic, the Lord Mayor, Stephen Morgan and the litter picking fairies. These fairies had the most delicate litter pickers I had seen! Whilst everyone was seated and eating their picnics they were entertained by The Pompey Pluckers. Eventually people were joining in singing (wow, after 16 months we are able to sing in public again!) and dancing including Jen and Alice. At 2.30 we began tidying away and due to the fairies I only had to pick up 1 piece of litter the whole day!
