I did a bit of shopping for Ms A, one of the fun elements of the shopping missions is finding things on the shopping list that I’m unfamiliar with; today it was freekeh, which I’d not heard of. It is ‘a cereal food made from green durum wheat that is roasted and rubbed to create its flavour. It is an ancient dish derived from Levantine and North African cuisines’. Every day is a school day 😀
