Todays activity at the Ealing Salvation Army was full of farm fresh veggy deliveries. Volunteers filled takeaway bags chock full of fresh root veggies and other goodies to be turned into delicious meals.

What did the veggies say when the music came on? “Lettuce turnip the beet!”. Phew, with that obligatory attempt of a pun out of the way, we turn our focus onto the clothes donations.

With the cold weather approaching, an ample array of sweaters, coats and other cozy attire was labelled and placed for pickup in the donation area. All volunteers worked together to make this a success :)

Great work on the prep today Naomi - everything looked perfectly organised when the second batch of GoodGymers arrived! I liked the pun in the report :)
