(Fun) Palace makes perfect
5 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

The Boundary Estate Fun Palace asked us for some help setting up the venue for a whole day of interesting free events and activities for anyone and everyone. What is a Fun Palace you ask - they are community created events held at parks, town halls, libraries and everywhere in between - for one weekend in October, these Fun Palaces 'pop up' simultaneously across the country.
This was the fourth year it has been held at the Boundary Estate, specifically St Hilda's East Community Centre. Upon arriving, the experienced organisers quickly got us to work setting up tables and chairs in the hall, picking up pastries, moving furniture up to the Cafe on the first floor and finally erecting a couple of Gazebos in the Courtyard, one for a bicycle workshop and another for the 'pet a ferret' activity!
