It was a return visit to help Ms S with her garden, and I was greeted with a 'Cooeee!' called across the communal gardens as I arrived. Ms S's private space in a tiny courtyard garden packed full of plants and pots - some of which were in better condition than others! I started by pulling weeds out of pots containing bulbs which had finished flowering, and put them out of the way under the stairs. A good sweep of the area made it look a whole lot better, and will allow Ms S to sit out there when we finally get a summer! Then we turned to planting up some containers with some bargain plants - Ms S does love a bargain! As always, she was very appreciative of my efforts, and the 90 minutes went all too quickly.
