There was quite a bit going on at the SHP allotment today. During the session the clients and helpers were busy weeding the raised and flat beds, tightening up the joints on the picnic bench, adjusting last weeks quick fix on the roof, sharpening tools and raking up leaves.

AJ and Linda opted to weed the bed where garlic had been planted before lock-down. We were unsure if the existing garlic was any good, luckily one of the clients knew what to do and showed us how to split the cloves to replant them in neat rows. While were working on this AJ unearthed some small potatoes which we have put aside for seeding-nothing gets wasted on this job, garlic fries could soon become a reality 😊

Before leaving there was just time for the usual litter pick/fly tip clear up.

It was a nice afternoon and it seems everyone was happy with their achievements.

nice work! re potatos for seeding - it's generally not recommended to do it this way in case these potatos suffered any decease/blight so it's always better to get proper seed potatos. But it also worth trying things out:)
