On a bright an but cold Saturday afternoon, runners Isabelle, Aidan, Ceiling, Simon, John and myself gathered at Stepney City Farm for session 8 of our Aquatic pond building community mission. This was my first Taskforce as lead – so it was wonderful to be at one of my favourite GG venues with such a pleasant and enthusiastic group – a mixture of familiar and new faces (special shout out to Simon who attended his first GG mission - hope you enjoyed it and will be back for many more.) Advised by our friendly Taskforce owner Alex, our tasks today included spreading aquatic and non-aquatic soil and levelling the area around the pond which we set about with gusto - Alex is impressed by our hard work and what we have achieved so far!
