Ms M has a lovely garden that she is very proud of, but since a couple of health issues, she has been struggling to keep on top of it. Ms M wanted to move some of her potted plants into beds, so our first task was to dig a hole big enough to put these in. We were slightly hampered by some stubborn thick roots and had to admit defeat and abandon one of our initial holes. When we had dug a space big enough, we proceeded with the task of de-potting a hydrangea and planting it in its new home.

Seeing our enthusiasm for planting things in the bed, Ms M produced some crocus bulbs for us to scatter; perfectly in-keeping with Croydon as ‘valley of the crocus’ and our previous GoodGym visits to Saffron Central, Europe’s biggest urban saffron farm. We agreed we would like to come back and see our plants in bloom in the coming weeks, and Ms M has plenty more ideas for her garden which we hope we can help with.
