Part 2 of volunteering at the Abingdon parkruns last weekend entailed journeying to the brand new Southern Town Junior Parkrun for Event #3! A great opportunity for a long run I decided to jog the 14km through Sandford-on-Thames and Radley to Abingdon. A very nice park with dense trees requiring over 15 marshalls so lots of volunteers needed each week (if anyone is interested!). I was tasked with tailwalking which most of the time was with a mum and her daughter doing their 2nd ever junior parkrun. A hot day for all the 47 runners that made it through the finish line. A great course and one I expect I'll visit again. I then ran to find some oxen for the Ox Trail and back to Oxford again in time for lunch
