A fabulous evening spent down at the Sherborne Community Garden with 5 fabulous Goodgym members and local residents all raring to get stuck in.

The Sherborne community garden has served the community for a number of years - helping to get children and other residents involved in gardening projects and looking after their own community spaces.

The garden has won awards year after year and they would like to be in with a chance of winning again this year!! However, with the impact of COVID, the garden has suffered, so in order to be in with a chance of winning again, the area needs a little TLC....

Tonight we were tasked with painting all the planters in bright colours. With lovely company, light work was made of the task (well, apart from the paint splashes on the railings which resulted in a bit of extra work - which we took completely in our stride of course!).

It's amazing the difference a coat of paint makes - which I'm sure you'll agree when you look at the pictures....
