Getting the hang of it
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Richmond.
- Saturday, 11th of December 2021
Sadly Rob was unable to attend due to illness, so I went it alone to Mr M’s place in St Margaret’s.
Having not been there in 2 years, it was evident that Mr M is still fond of picking up the odd item or two to store in his flat. The job today involved picking my way through the living room to hang some curtains - which was straightforward as the hooks were on hand and the runner in good nick.
Mr M then asked for a fridge to be moved outside the front door, which was more difficult but manageable as he had already taken the door off. Then a bit of manoeuvring of a washing machine - in the living room, naturally - and it was time to bid farewell and be on my way.
