On a freezing winter night, six of Goodgym's most robust runners met to paint metal work, do an interval session and run 8km in the process. Way to go team!

Although the media told us it was the saddest day of the year (check your facts please), there were no frowns at Wanstead House last night as the team continued the ongoing project to repaint ALL the metal work around our weekly meeting point. Having done the front gates in 2018 and made them look rather fabulous, the next task is the huge main gates that mark the entry point to the car park. Armed with brushes, scrapers and black paint the squad was soon staying toasty by putting in a huge amount of elbow grease prepping and painting.

With the big gate ready for painting but time running out, the group headed off for a short warm up lap before a cruise interval session on George Green. These sessions have become a popular winter edition and will help anyone who is targeting a new Park Run PB or a Spring Half or Marathon.

A big WELL DONE to all the Redbridge team for completing the January Challenge in terms of tasks (40) with a Saturday Starter Session this Saturday and another weekly run next week, we are going to smash the totals - which just need Trainer James's Strava runs to show on the page and we will be golden! Check out the events tab and join us this Saturday or next Monday for plenty more good deed and fitness fun!
